Reviews and Ratings
I absolutely loved staying at this hotel! The rooms were spacious, clean, and updated nicely, providing a comfortable stay despite not being a luxury suite. The service was top-notch with a welcoming and helpful staff, although they were not entirely trained to troubleshoot issues professionally. The location was fantastic, right in downtown Detroit, with easy access to the People Movers and a great city vibe. The dining experience fell short of expectations, with disappointing options and the Welsh pastry not living up to par.
My stay at the hotel was like finding a hidden gem. The room was uniquely decorated and came with a fully stocked wet bar, making it a perfect start to my trip. However, it was a bit smaller than expected, had fewer amenities, and the bed felt more like a full-sized one than a queen.
The hotel is centrally located in downtown Detroit, close to everything and in the center of a revived city. The rooms have their own unique character but may not be suitable for those with a smaller stature. The service provided by the staff was exceptional, going above and beyond to assist guests. The dining options could be improved with more choices during breakfast, while the location offers a terrific experience in the heart of the city.
